UPDATE (October 2026): Classiq's May 2022 Series B second closing brought the round to $36 million and total funding to $51 million, with Wing listed among existing investors. In May 2025, Entrée Capital led a $110 million Series C with Wing, Team8, and IN Venture participating, lifting Classiq funding to about $173 million. On October 26, 2026, Intel announced a definitive agreement to acquire Classiq, the quantum computing software company. The deal would pair Intel's silicon spin-qubit technology with Classiq's quantum algorithm synthesis platform, which automatically turns a high-level problem description into a quantum circuit. Intel expects the deal to close in the first half of 2027, subject to regulatory approvals, and did not disclose financial terms.
The original announcement (January 2021)
Classiq, a Tel Aviv-based startup that aims to make it easier for computer scientists and developers to create quantum algorithms and applications, today announced that it has raised a $10.5 million Series A round led by Team8 Capital and Wing Capital. Entrée Capital, crowdfunding platform OurCrowd and Sumitomo Corporation (through IN Venture) also participated in this round, which follows the company’s recent $4 million seed round led by Entrée Capital.
The idea behind Classiq, which currently has just under a dozen members on its team, is that developing quantum algorithms remains a major challenge.
