Today, Classiq announced that it was being acquired by Intel. We first partnered with co-founders Nir Minerbi, Yehuda Naveh, and Amir Naveh in 2020 for their Series A, and our Founding Partner Peter Wagner has served on their Board of Directors ever since. We couldn’t be prouder of the team, who are among the finest founders we’ve had the privilege of working with.
The acquisition is a major step forward for the quantum ecosystem. It also reinforces a major technology company’s strong commitment to the quantum space.
Based in Tel Aviv, Classiq has established itself as the leading quantum design software company, and is deployed in major enterprises, research institutions and government entities around the world. Its technology automatically turns a high-level description of what a program should do into an optimized circuit ready to run on quantum hardware, so teams can build quantum applications without deep quantum expertise.
Once again, a huge congrats to Nir, Yehuda, and Amir!
