Wing Academy on CEO Leadership with MongoDB

It's hard building a company; it's even harder when the world is going through a major dislocation like COVID-19. The 2020 Wing Academy Series is designed to help entrepreneurs lead their companies in uncertain times, through shared experiences and group learning.

Our first academy is for founders and CEOs, and tackles the most fundamental questions: What are reasonable growth expectations for 2020? What is the best way to align your cost base with lower growth? How do you lead your teams through difficult decisions? What are the best ways to build morale in a work-from-home world?

The first academy speaker is Dev Ittycheria. Dev has generated over $25B in value as a founder, CEO, and investor. He currently serves as President and CEO of MongoDB (IPO at $1.2B) and previously served as Co-founder and CEO of BladeLogic from 2001 to 2008 (IPO and sale to BMC for $900M). Dev's independent boards include Datadog, Athenahealth, and AppDynamics.

Dev will draw from his prior experience at BladeLogic and current experience at MongoDB on leading tech companies in downturns. Subsequent academies will cover functional domains of human resources, marketing, and engineering, as well as finance and go-to-market.
